My Approach

I am formally trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which is a fancy way of saying that I believe that our thoughts, emotions and behaviors are all linked together to make up how we feel, behave and interact with ourselves and others around us.  While all of those things combined can be overwhelming, I believe that when you learn to break them down into smaller, more manageable/understandable parts, you begin to create spaces of growth that foster...

About Me

I'm a teacher, turned social worker who moonlights as a yoga instructor.  I have worked for fifteen years in the south/central ward(s) of Newark, NJ with children, young adults and adults in the areas of trauma, life transitions, addiction, emotion regulation, family systems...
